FILTRATION AND DISINFECTION, ALL IN ONE
ACTIVATED CARBON FILTRATION
The so-called AC filtration technology is based on natural activated carbon made from coconut shells. It is highly efficient and reduces taste-impairing substances such as chlorine. Pesticides, heavy metals, pharmaceutical residues, and hormones are also reduced, insofar as they are present in your local drinking water. UVC LED DISINFECTION
UVC stands for ultraviolet light in the “C” wavelength range – the most energy-rich part of the sun’s radiation. This highly effective light can inactivate up to 99.99% of bacteria, germs, and viruses – if present in your local water. The latest generation of this technology is mercury-free and extremely durable. Under normal conditions, the UVC LED requires no replacement.

Never lets you down
Relax, if you are on holidays. The BLANCO AQUA UVC-AC features a stand-by mode that keeps the system hygienic and ensures that the idle time is credited towards the filter cartridge’s lifetime.
Up to 3 weeks of self-maintenance
The activated carbon filter can remain in the unit for up to 3 weeks of downtime without any risk of contamination. The UVC LEDs are activated by a flow sensor only when water is running and reach full power within nanoseconds. In stand-by mode, the system also performs an automatic 10-second self-disinfection every 4 hours, reliably preventing microbiological growth.

The BLANCO AQUA UVC-AC is easy to install without any technical expertise. Thanks to its compact size, it fits into most base cabinets, but can also be placed on the countertop (This requires a small hole for the hoses and the power cable.)

Does your cabinet have enough depth?
A minimum cabinet depth of 250 mm (inside measurement) is required. The BLANCO AQUA has to be positioned vertically.
